Good to know
This food can be a choking hazard for babies. Prepare it in an age-appropriate size and texture, and always supervise your baby while eating.
Only serve the tender heart - the leaves and choke are not suitable for babies. Steam or boil until very soft.
Tip
Canned artichoke hearts (in water, not marinated) are convenient and safe for babies. Rinse to reduce sodium.
