Ground flax seeds can be introduced around 6 months. They're an excellent plant source of omega-3 fatty acids.
How to serve
Mix a small amount of ground flax into purees, oatmeal, or yogurt.
Add to smoothies, pancakes, or baked goods.
Sprinkle on cereals or mix into various dishes.
