Strawberry
When a baby is ready to begin solid foods, which is typically around 6 months old, strawberry may be offered.
Zo serveer je het
You can present a full strawberry if your strawberries are exceptionally large, tender, and ripe.
The fruit should be chopped or mashed if it is too small to fit in the child's mouth whole. Press the fruit between your fingers and see if it yields when you apply light pressure to see if it is sufficiently soft.
You can start serving strawberry slices in thin slices.
Keep serving the strawberries sliced, and when you think the toddler is ready, go with large whole or quartered strawberries.
Voedingswaarde

The fruit also has folate, which supports a baby's metabolism, cell energy, and antioxidant activity, and fiber, which supports a healthy gut.
